Biden's Big Blunder

Last night’s vice-presidential debate was interesting, to say the least.  For those who chose to continue to watch and endure the laughs, giggles, smirks, smiles, interruptions, and unbelievable rudeness and condescension of Joe Biden, Vice-President of the United States of America, it was a look into the soul of the Democratic Party.

In 2003 the United States invaded Iraq to rid that country of a despot by the name of Saddam Hussein.  The main reason we needed to take out that dictator was not, as the liberals say of George W. Bush, that we did it for oil (if that was the case, we wouldn’t have rising gas prices in America today).   It was because Saddam Hussein had WMDs (weapons of mass destruction) which he had used on his people before, and we didn't want him to use them again or, God forbid, have them land in the hands of terrorists.   This was the conclusion of the INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY of not only the USA but also Great Britain.
Now, you might be asking, “why in the world are you bringing this up” in relation to the vice-presidential debate last night?  I am bringing this up PRECISELY because of Vice-President Joe Biden’s response to the question about Libya last night during the debate.  Biden was asked about the attack on our consulate in Libya and what was known about the attack.  Biden refused to admit that the Obama administration suffered a massive intelligence failure in the aftermath of the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.
Debate moderator Martha Raddatz explained that the State Department has now “made clear” that there were no protesters outside the U.S. Consulate in Libya. Further, the assault was a premeditated assault by heavily armed men – an act of terrorism.
“Wasn’t this a massive intelligence failure?” Raddatz asked.
“What it was, was a tragedy,” Biden said. “We will find and bring to justice the men who did this.”
He also claimed that they were never told that there were repeated requests for more security at the American Embassy in Benghazi, Libya.
Obama and Biden don’t want to take responsibility for the intelligence failures in Libya.  These are the same two men, who when they were senators during the term of President George W. Bush, castigated him for the perceived intelligence failures in Iraq and blamed him for not finding the WMDs that Saddam Hussein had stockpiled.  They DID NOT BLAME THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY!  THEY BLAMED PRESIDENT BUSH (seems like they want to blame him for everything doesn’t it).  Well, it’s time to step up and take RESPONSIBILITY for your administration JUST LIKE YOU WANTED PRESIDENT BUSH TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for what you call intelligence failures in Iraq.  Oh, but it’s different when a liberal Democrat gets in the White House, isn’t it.
Biden was so quick to throw the intelligence community under the bus about Libya.  Yet he says, “this is the intelligence community which will warn us beforehand if Iran acquires the capabilities to launch a nuclear warhead.”
Mr. Vice-President, I’d like to know if you “inhaled” before you went onto the debate stage last night.
